Famous Adak Beer Pizza

No need for yeast in the crust - the beer does the rising action! In Okinawa, Sapporo Beer makes terrific crust! From Pete's Better Homes and Barracks, Okinawa, Japan.
DOUGH:
12 oz. can beer3 cups flour
1/2 tsp. salt2 tbsp. sugar
Mix the above ingredients in a large bowl. Spread onto a greased cookie sheet. Place in hot oven for a few minutes. Check and pop bubbles with a knife or sharp object. Continue to bake until dough is starting to brown.
SAUCE:
1 can Contadina pizza sauce
pepperoni, browned sausage, mushrooms, etc.
Mozzarella cheese
Spread sauce over the dough. Top with pepperoni and other meats, then cheeses. Serves 2-3.
Homemade Lasagna

This recipe of Jonathan's was the only one submitted electronically - from his computer directly to mine. A friend of his gave him the recipe after fixing the dish for him.
1 box lasagna noodles
1-1/2 jars spaghetti sauce
2 lbs. cottage cheese
2 pkg. shredded mozzarella cheese
pinch of parsley flakes to taste
small container of Parmesan cheese
2 large or 3 smaller eggs
13" x 9" x 2" pan
Boil Noodles 'til almost cooked. Rinse in cool water and lay out (flat) to dry while preparing other stuff.
Preheat oven to 375°.
Prepare cottage cheese mixture using all cottage cheese, and half of the Parmesan cheese, the parsley flakes, and all eggs.
Layer the ingredients as follows: Lay a layer of noodles on bottom of pan. Spread half the cottage cheese mixture evenly over noodles, and on sprinkle on this half the grated mozzarella cheese. Layer half of the spaghetti sauce on evenly.
Repeat layering process once. then sprinkle rest of Parmesan cheese on top.
Bake at 350° to 375°F for 30 to 35 min.
Let cool five minutes.
Eat and enjoy. . . serves five extremely starving people (I know this!) or eight normal appetites.
